BlackbuttEucalyptus pilularis DescriptionA large hardwood that grows from Bega in NSW to Maryborough in QLD. The heartwood is a pale yellow brown which commonly has pin hole borer and gum streak. Commonly shows surface checking after drying. WorkabilityTough to work but polishes very well. ApplicationsMostly flooring and F27 structural hardwood.
