Description

A large hardwood with wide distribution from South Australia, Victoria and NSW. Warm pink in colour. Usually quarter sawn so shows a very straight grain.

Workability

Works well.

Applications

Mostly flooring.  Can be found in Vic Ash furniture boards.

Availability

Readily available as flooring.

Janka 6.0   750kg/m3.

Durability

Not durable.
